L’Occitane Group revised its take-private offer and gave shareholders the opportunity to exchange existing shares for shares in the new company. Reinold Geiger tried to take L’Occitane private last year and failed, but this time he’s secured backing from Blackstone and Goldman Sachs. Business of Fashion

Fundraising
RIND Snacks secured $2.75M in funding from undisclosed investors. Earlier this year, RIND acquired Vermont-based Small Batch Organics in order to become a vertically integrated snack platform. SEC

Suntory Global Spirits is trialing a Scotch RTD in Japan under its Teacher’s Whisky brand. It’s a good-looking product but I’m curious if Scotch enthusiasts will adopt RTDs at scale? Just Drinks
ONE Brands, the nutritional snack brand that Hershey acquired in 2019 for nearly $400M, launched two co-branded protein bars with Reese’s and Hershey’s. Surprised it took them this long to tap their candy IP to sell protein bars. Stack3d
