  • Prestige Consumer Healthcare completed its acquisition of Breathe Right and a handful of other brands for just over $1B. Breathe Right, created in the 1990s, is a leader in the nasal strips category and has grown over 60% YoY since 2022. The entire portfolio of acquired brands generates $200M in revenue and $95M in EBITDA per year. GlobeNewswire

  • Like Unilever, L’Oreal is betting on India and acquired a majority stake in Innovist, a fast-growing beauty and personal care company. Founded in 2019 by Rohit Chawla, Sifat Khurana, and Vimal Bhola, Innovist owns a variety of brands including Bare Anatomy, Chemist at Play, and SunScoop. The founding team will remain in place as minority shareholders. WSJ

  • Gleezy, a North Carolina-based purveyor of premium hot dogs and condiments, closed a $2M seed round led by Old Tom Capital. Founded three years ago by Byrce Rech, Gleezy is best known for its double-smoked beef brisket hot dogs. Their retail partners include Target, Harris Teeter, Food City, and several other regional chains. The foodservice channel is also a key focus for Gleezy. Instagram

  • Mitsoh, a Canadian producer of dried meat snacks and traditional pemmican, closed a 7-figure growth equity round led by Raven Indigenous Capital Partners. Several strategic angels like Mike Fata, Dror Balshine, and Josh Morrissey also participated in the round. Ian Gladue, a Cree entrepreneur and cultural advocate, founded Mitsoh roughly a decade ago.   • Tara Bosch is back with Snackish after selling SmartSweets for $360M in 2020. With Snackish, Bosch and her all-female leadership reimagined potato chips with cleaner ingredients and better macros. Each serving of Snackish contains 8g of protein and 3g of fiber.
